Molydos Group was founded on a singular conviction: the global food service industry must eliminate single-use plastics. Producing over 50 million certified compostable units annually, we found the answer in bagasse — the fibrous biomass remaining after sugarcane juice extraction.
What began as a regional manufacturing initiative has evolved into a vertically integrated export powerhouse. We engineer the transition to a circular economy by transforming agricultural residue into premium, ASTM D6868-certified tableware — delivered to 7+ countries worldwide.
From Field to Table
Our zero-waste process transforms sugarcane waste into premium, compostable tableware through advanced green engineering.
Harvesting
We source bagasse — the lignocellulosic fibrous residue remaining after sugarcane juice extraction — directly from local mills. This prevents open-field burning, eliminating an estimated 1.5 kg of CO₂ per kg of bagasse recovered.
Pulping
Raw fibre is refined and sanitised using chemical-free, high-pressure steam pulping at controlled temperatures. This process yields a food-safe, bleach-free pulp with a consistent GSM (grams per square metre) critical for structural uniformity.
Thermoforming
Under 180–220°C heat and precision hydraulic pressure, the pulp is thermoformed into rigid tableware. Our proprietary die-molding process ensures dimensional accuracy within ±0.5mm — critical for stackability and leak-resistance in bulk packaging.
QA & Finishing
Each product batch undergoes UV sterilisation and rigorous quality assurance against ISO 9001:2015 and FDA 21 CFR standards. Only products passing load-bearing, thermal-resistance, and moisture-barrier tests are cleared for global export.

Our Morbi, Gujarat facility produces export-grade compostable tableware meeting EU, US, and Australian import standards. Every shipment is backed by full SGS-audited documentation, phytosanitary certificates, and COA (Certificate of Analysis) reports for buyer confidence.
